Most tech job postings now ask for soft skills.

Not a new framework. Not a new language. The skill that moved into the top two of developer postings is explaining your work to people who do not write code.

In 2022 it was in 32.5% of Software Engineer postings. Today it is in 46%, ahead of Java, C++ and TypeScript. Three other human skills moved even faster. Which ones, and in which roles, is in the report.
