Your Goal
Fix urgent Vue 3 bugs and polish UI for a high-stakes investor demo.
Simulation Details:
PrismForge is a SaaS startup developing workflow optimization tools for small and medium-sized businesses in sectors like retail, logistics, and healthcare. Their flagship platform automates tasks, tracks performance, and integrates third-party apps, all built on a modern stack with Vue 3 for the frontend and Node.js on the backend. APIs are hosted on AWS Lambda for scalability and real-time data processing. With recent beta customers providing feedback, PrismForge is rapidly iterating to address issues and polish the product ahead of a crucial investor demo. The company faces typical startup challenges: a small development team, tight deadlines, and the need to impress investors to secure major funding for growth.
You step in as the newly hired Frontend Developer, tasked with rescuing PrismForge’s main Vue 3 component just days before a high-stakes investor demo. Collaborate one-on-one with the Product Manager, who is highly detail-oriented and focused on delivering a flawless, easily explainable user experience. Your mission is to identify and prioritize urgent bugs, clarify requirements for a new filtering feature, and refactor the dashboard component to ensure it is technically sound, visually polished, and ready for the demo. Throughout, you’ll discuss solutions, review code, and adapt to feedback in real time, ensuring the platform meets both technical and presentation goals.
- Communicate directly with the Product Manager to clarify priorities and requirements.
- Review and edit the main Vue 3 component in the simulation’s editor, addressing critical bugs and implementing requested features.
- Respond to feedback and make adjustments to ensure the component is functional, efficient, and visually cohesive.
- Demonstrate technical problem-solving and debugging skills, delivering a component that supports a confident, investor-ready demo.
