Implementation & Integrations FAQ
How Anthropos is deployed, what ATS and HRIS integrations work out of the box, what your IT team needs to know, and what ongoing support looks like.
How long does implementation take?
Most customers are live within 2–4 weeks. Typical process: account configuration and SSO (week 1), simulation selection and ATS/HRIS integration (week 1–2), administrator training and pilot launch (week 2–3), results review and readiness sign-off (week 3–4).
Large enterprise deployments with custom simulations and deep integration requirements typically take 6–8 weeks. No months-long implementation or SI partner engagement is required.
What technical resources does our IT team need to provide?
For most deployments, IT involvement is minimal — primarily setting up SSO (SAML 2.0 or OIDC) and configuring the ATS or HRIS connection. Anthropos is fully cloud-hosted with nothing to install on-premise.
Anthropos can provide domains and IP ranges for network whitelisting, a security questionnaire response, and full vendor documentation (DPA, SOC 2, EU AI Act analysis) for IT security review.
How do ATS integrations work in practice?
When a candidate reaches a specific ATS stage (e.g., “Technical Screen”), Anthropos automatically sends a simulation invitation. The candidate completes it on their own schedule. Results — competency scores per skill, overall score, pass/flag indicator, and a link to the detailed report — appear in the candidate’s ATS profile automatically. Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Teamtailor, iCIMS, and SmartRecruiters are fully supported.
How do HRIS integrations work for workforce development?
Anthropos reads role assignments and org structure from your HRIS to contextualize skills mapping. After simulations and Skill Paths are completed, verified competency scores are written back to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or your system of record — keeping skills data current without manual data entry.
Does Anthropos support SSO?
Yes. Anthropos supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and OIDC through Clerk identity infrastructure. Employees and candidates authenticate using existing corporate credentials. SSO setup is part of standard onboarding, typically completed in week 1.
Can Anthropos work alongside our existing LMS?
Yes. Anthropos is commonly deployed alongside LMS platforms including Docebo, Cornerstone, and SAP LMS. The LMS handles content delivery and compliance tracking; Anthropos handles skills verification and simulation practice. Competency scores from Anthropos can feed back into your LMS or HRIS to update learner profiles.
Can we create our own simulations, or does Anthropos build everything?
Both options are available. Anthropos Studio is designed for users without technical backgrounds — HR business partners and L&D specialists regularly build and maintain simulation libraries independently. For teams that prefer expert support, Anthropos offers guided content creation where the team co-designs simulations based on your requirements.
What support does Anthropos provide after go-live?
All plans include access to the Anthropos support team. Business and Enterprise plans include a dedicated Customer Success Manager who conducts regular check-ins, helps optimize simulation selection, and reviews results with your team. Enterprise customers have access to technical SLAs, priority escalation paths, and training programs for internal Simulation Builders.
