Today, we announce that my cofounder and friend Giacomo Marinangeli is leaving his role as CTO at Anthropos Inc to pursue new opportunities. We started Anthropos Inc. in 2023 with the idea of changing how companies build a new relationship with their people, one focused on growth, clear paths and powered by skills. Giacomo and I have built Anthropos with the same passion, determination and vision that we shared for over 10 years co-founding and turning Cloud Academy Inc. into a very successful and global business.
Being part of Anthropos has been an incredible journey for Giacomo. He is immensely proud of the work our entire team has accomplished and amazed by the level of quality in the product and technology we’ve built in such a short time. Even as he moves on to new adventures, Giacomo wholeheartedly shares our vision for the impact Anthropos can have in the future.

Over the last months, we realized that our plans for moving forward don’t line up perfectly. Knowing each other well we have decided that the best way forward is for Giacomo to remain a shareholder and investor in Anthropos but leave his day-to-day role to pursue new adventures. We came to this decision considering several options and keeping the success of Anthropos Inc. and our team as the most critical goal for us and I really appreciate Giacomo’s decision to take this step.

Giacomo is and has been a friend and a precious partner for me for several years. He has an incredible technical acumen and he’s one of the most capable CTOs I’ve worked with.

We spent years working side by side and I will never be grateful enough to him for his friendship and support. At Anthropos he defined and led the foundation of our technology and product, fostering a lean and future-proof engineering culture and I will be forever grateful for his contribution and commitment to it. While our professional paths are separating, he will be a personal advisor and friend to me and Anthropos.

I would like to publicly thank Giacomo for his contribution on behalf of Anthropos and personally for the many days, flights and adventures we shared in the last 12 years. I’ve learned a lot from you and we had a lot of fun. I wish you nothing but the best and I sincerely hope our paths will cross again in the future.
