Your Goal
Your Mission

Simulation Details
World Education Services (WES) is a globally recognized non-profit organization specializing in international academic credential evaluation. Since its establishment in 1974, WES has supported over 3 million individuals, including immigrants, refugees, and international students, in achieving their academic and professional goals. The organization processes approximately 500,000 credential evaluations annually, maintaining an industry-leading error rate of less than 0.5%. This precision is vital for clients like Lars Müller, whose academic future depends on timely and reliable evaluations.
WES’s operations are powered by proprietary tools such as the Credential Evaluation Database (CED), which contains detailed records of over 200 global academic systems, and the Translation Verification Systems (TVS), which ensure linguistic consistency and accuracy. These tools, combined with over 150 standardized evaluation protocols, enable WES to handle complex cases with precision. Over the years, WES has set benchmarks in the field, including introducing standardized credential evaluation methodologies and collaborating with UNESCO on global guidelines for credential recognition. The organization’s ability to adapt to challenges, such as discrepancies in documentation from politically unstable regions, underscores its commitment to innovation and excellence.
As a Case Analyst I–Bilingual at WES, you will take on the responsibility of resolving discrepancies in German academic credentials while adhering to strict procedural guidelines. Your task is to address mismatched transcript dates, grading inconsistencies, and translation inaccuracies that impact the client’s academic future. You will interact with three key NPCs: Claudia Hoffmann, who provides procedural guidance and ensures compliance with WES standards; Lars Müller, the persistent client who frequently requests updates and expects transparency; and Ingrid Schneider, your team lead, who offers constructive feedback and supports you in navigating complex cases.
Your mission involves two primary tasks. First, you will resolve discrepancies in transcript dates by cross-referencing provided documentation and identifying potential errors or inconsistencies. Second, you will address suspected translation inaccuracies by analyzing the context and ensuring the translated information aligns with WES standards. Throughout the simulation, you must validate document authenticity, apply procedural knowledge, and organize findings for professional communication with the client. Balancing Lars’s urgency with procedural integrity will be key to your success.
