Successful projects include the migration of an ERP system for PharmaCorp and the implementation of an e-commerce platform for EuroShop. Nimbus Solutions stands out for its use of advanced technologies like Kubernetes and Terraform, and for a 95% customer satisfaction rate. Recently, the company has adopted AI technologies for threat monitoring and has renegotiated contracts with suppliers to reduce costs. ## Challenge The main challenge is to negotiate with the client, Global Retail Inc., to obtain additional funds of 500,000 euros or changes to the scope of a cloud project that has exceeded the budget of 2 million euros. Technical complexities include GDPR compliance issues and the need for custom middleware. The client has imposed strict financial constraints, requiring creative solutions to keep costs under control. ## Mission As a Project Manager at Nimbus Solutions, you will be responsible for managing the project and negotiating with the client, Global Retail Inc. You will need to prepare a detailed presentation of the technical complexities and additional costs, conduct a negotiation meeting to obtain additional funds or changes to the project scope, and propose alternative solutions to reduce costs without compromising project quality. You will interact with the internal team, the client, and cloud service providers, facing complex dynamics and potential conflicts. ## Expected Outcomes To complete the simulation, you must: - Prepare a detailed presentation of the technical complexities and additional costs. - Conduct a negotiation meeting with the client and draft a meeting report. - Propose alternative solutions to reduce costs.
