In the "Java Spring Boot: RESTful API Java Challenge," you will step into the role of a Backend Developer tasked with refining a RESTful API that serves as the backbone for TechNest's flagship mobile application, "NestConnect." Your mission is to address critical security vulnerabilities, such as outdated authentication mechanisms, inconsistent error handling, and insufficient input validation, while ensuring the API meets stringent security and scalability standards. You will collaborate with Stefan Müller, the Head of Quality Assurance, who will provide detailed feedback on your work, challenging you to refine the API and align it with industry best practices. Additionally, you will report to Priya Kapoor, the Engineering Manager, who expects you to balance technical improvements with business priorities, such as rapid feature rollouts and scalability.
