# Simulation Description
## Company Overview
Veridian is a technology consulting firm founded in 2005, specializing in innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency for businesses. It has worked with over 200 companies, including 50 from the Fortune 500 list. Veridian is a leader in implementing advanced DevOps solutions, reducing software release times by an average of 30% and improving product quality by 25%. However, it has recently encountered significant challenges, such as a failed DevOps implementation at InnovateCorp, resulting in an estimated loss of $500,000. Veridian uses tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for its DevOps implementations and relies on transparent communication and regular feedback to maintain high team morale.
## Challenge
The primary challenge is to mediate between InnovateCorp, which suffered a $500,000 loss due to a failed DevOps implementation, and the DevOps development team at TechSolutions. InnovateCorp is under pressure to launch a new fintech product line by the next quarter, with a deadline of June 30, 2023. The development team is experiencing low morale and concerns about unrealistic deadlines and insufficient resources. The player will face specific scenarios such as managing a critical bug and implementing new automated tests.
## Mission
As a Project Manager at TechSolutions, you will be responsible for managing the expectations of both the client and the DevOps development team. You will need to gather feedback from team members, understand their concerns, and negotiate solutions with the client. Your main interactions will be with Charlotte Wood, Carlos Garcia, and Chai Sonkhla. You will need to identify the team's main concerns, determine which client requests are feasible, and define a clear and actionable plan that is acceptable to both parties.
## Expected Outcomes
To complete the simulation, you will need to:
1. Gather feedback from the development team and summarize the main concerns and critical areas.
2. Manage the client's expectations and describe the negotiated solutions.
3. Propose a detailed compromise plan.
Once the plan is completed, export it as a PDF or Docx and send it to your manager, Chai Sonkhla.
