Your Goal
You build trust with a skeptical CFO to secure a meeting. Simulation Details: EasyFinance is a mid-sized SaaS company providing financial management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Since 2015, it has helped over 1,200 clients across industries like manufacturing, retail, and professional services. EasyFinance’s platform focuses on three main features: automated invoice reconciliation to reduce errors and speed up payments, predictive cash-flow analytics for accurate forecasting, and customizable dashboards for vendor management. The company stands out by offering reliable, tailored solutions and dedicated onboarding support, ensuring smooth integration and high customer satisfaction. EasyFinance is committed to transparency, clear pricing, and proactive customer service, earning a reputation as a trusted partner for SMEs looking to streamline financial operations. You are a Business Development Representative candidate at EasyFinance. Your task is to engage in a real-time, one-on-one chat with the CFO of a mid-market fashion brand. Your mission is to open the conversation professionally, confirm the CFO’s willingness to discuss her company’s financial processes, and build rapport despite her skepticism from previous negative SaaS experiences. Through thoughtful discovery questions, you’ll uncover her company’s current workflows, pain points, and goals. As the conversation progresses, you must address objections, summarize key findings, and clearly link EasyFinance’s solutions to her challenges. Your objective is to secure her agreement to a follow-up meeting with a Senior Account Executive, ensuring a smooth hand-off and next steps. - Build rapport and demonstrate empathy with the CFO during the conversation. - Uncover at least two key pain points or areas for improvement in the company’s financial operations. - Effectively connect EasyFinance’s solutions to the CFO’s stated challenges. - Secure the CFO’s agreement to a follow-up meeting with a Senior Account Executive. - Maintain a professional and constructive tone throughout the chat.
